Registration

Personal user Public Entity Commercial Entity Organization/ Foundation School

You can：

1. Register online；

2. Register using electronic postal kiosk；

Registration procedure could be divided into three steps:

Step 1: Register
Personal user could register using the following methods:

1. Online registration or download SEPBox mobile app and input pre-registration information.
2. Register with personal information using Electronic Postal Kiosk or at the Counters.

Step2: Authenticate
Individuals can perform identity authentication using Electronic Postal Kiosk or at the Counters:

Using Kiosk

1. Insert a valid ID Card (BIR) into the ID card slot of the kiosk;
2. Provide contact telephone no. and contact address;
3. Use finger print to verify identity;

Step3: Activate

1. In accordance with the registered mobile telephone number, CTT will send a SEPBox activation code in SMS, once the applicant is activated, CTT will send an address verification code in a sealed envelope by mail to the applicant;
2. Within 180 days after registration, user must performs activation online or activate using SEPBox mobile application;
3. During activation, user needs to input activation code and last 3 digits of ID number, and set password, then registered SEPBox can be used.

Note 1: SEPBox ID shall be composed by Portuguese or English name, if the name exceed 25 characters, applicant shall select part of his/her name as the SEPBox ID, if duplicate SEPBox ID application occurred, later applicant shall include additional 4 digits after his/her SEPBox ID, for example chantaiman or chantaiman8888;
Note 2: SEPBox ID can only be composed by letters from A to Z and digits from 0 to 9, and cannot exceed in total 25 characters;
Note 3: Each SEPBox corresponds to a unique SEPBox ID. SEPBox ID will be composed in accordance with the indications of the application documents. CTT reserves the right to verify the correspondence between the elements of the composition of SEPBox ID and the documents submitted by the applicant, and not accept the application.

3. Personal user registration counter；

Registration procedure could be divided into three steps:

Step 1: Register

At counters

1. Show valid identification document (BIR, HKSAR ID, PRC ID, Non-resident worker ID, other foreign ID card or Passport );
2. Fill, sign and submit <<Personal SEPBox ID Application Form>>.

Step3: Activate

1. In accordance with the registered mobile telephone number, CTT will send a SEPBox activation code in SMS, once the applicant is activated, CTT will send an address verification code in a sealed envelope by mail to the applicant;
2. Within 180 days after registration, user must performs activation online or activate using SEPBox mobile application;
3. During activation, user needs to input activation code and last 3 digits of ID number, and set password, then registered SEPBox can be used.

4. Register using “Macao One Account”.

Registration procedure could be divided into two steps:

Step 1: Register
Register SEPBox using mobile app or the web page of “Macao One Account”.

Step2: Activate

1. In accordance with the registered mobile telephone number, CTT will send a SEPBox activation code in SMS, once the applicant is activated, CTT will send an address verification code in a sealed envelope by mail to the applicant;
2. Within 180 days after registration, user must performs activation online or activate using SEPBox mobile application;
3. During activation, user needs to input activation code and last 3 digits of ID number, and set password, then registered SEPBox can be used.

Public entity registration

Registration procedures as follow:

1. Fills and signs the <<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>> ；
2. Submits the following documents to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter CTT):

<<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>>；
An official letter signed by entity representative, which represent the intention to apply for SEPBox, and list the SEPBox ID intended to apply;
ID copy of entity representative；

If applicable:

If SEPBox ID is for individual of entity, <<Organizational SEPBox ID Supplementary Application Form>> is needed to be filled and submitted
ID copy of individual of organization；
Submitted Location :
- Avenida da Praia Grande no.789, R/C, Macau(eSignTrust Registration Authority)

3. CTT will send the SEPBox activate code in a sealed envelope by normal mail to the applicant；
4. Within 180 days after registration, user needs to activate online or activate using SEPBox mobile application;
5. During activation, user needs to input the activation code and set password, then registered SEPBox can be used.

Note 1: SEPBox ID is composed of the abbreviation of entity name; if the SEPBox ID is for an internal unit or individual of the entity, then a “.” and its short form represents the internal unit or individual code could be added before the abbreviation of the entity name. For example: sa.ctt or chantaiman.ctt;
Note 2: SEPBox ID can only be composed by letters from A to Z and digits from 0 to 9, and cannot exceed in total 25 characters;
Note 3: Each SEPBox corresponds to a unique SEPBox ID. SEPBox ID will be composed in accordance with the indications of the application documents. CTT reserves the right to verify the correspondence between the elements of the composition of SEPBox ID and the documents submitted by the applicant, and not accept the application.

Commercial entity registration

Registration procedures as follow:

1. Fills and signs the <<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>> ；
2. Submits the following documents to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter CTT):

<<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>>；
Business registration certificate;
Copy of the “Declaration of the Beginning of Activity/Changes, M/1 form, of Industrial Contribution, copy of the “Inscription Bulletin”, M/2 form, of the Professional Tax, or copy of the “Tax Collection Knowledgement”, M/8 form, of the Industrial Contribution (present the original or the authenticated copy, if necessary);
Certified entity organizational structure (if required);
ID copy of entity representative；

If applicable:

If SEPBox ID is for individual of entity, <<Organizational SEPBox ID Supplementary Application Form>> is needed to be filled and submitted
ID copy of individual of organization；
Submitted Location :

1. Fills and signs the <<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>> ；
2. Submits the following documents to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter CTT):

Preschool, primary and secondary school

Registration procedures as follow:

1. Fills and signs the <<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>> ；
2. Submits the following documents to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter CTT):

<<Organizational SEPBox ID Application Form>>；
ID copy of school principal；
ID copy of entity representative；
Copy of the license issued by issued by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (it is necessary to present the original copy of the license, for verification purposes)
Copy of Declaration of Employment for Principals of Private Education Institutions, issued by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (containing the name of the school principal)

If applicable:

If SEPBox ID is for individual of entity, <<Organizational SEPBox ID Supplementary Application Form>> is needed to be filled and submitted
ID copy of individual of organization；
Submitted Location :
- Avenida da Praia Grande no.789, R/C, Macau(eSignTrust Registration Authority)
