A1. Secure Electronic Postal Box (SEPBox), is a free electronic postal box application provided by Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter CTT). After having made the registration, user will be offered a free SEPBox which enables to receive, electronically and securely, government notifications, Postal Registered electronic Mail and electronic bills, avoiding junk mail and electronic virus. Reminders are automatically defined together with electronic deliveries, assuring that important dates and activities are not forgotten.

A2. Supporting organizations includes Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP), Identification Bureau (DSI), Transport Bureau (DSAT), Social Security Fund (FSS), Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), Cultural Development Fund (FDC), The Macao Water Supply Company Limited and Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM).

A3. Personal applicants could register their SEPBox using a Kiosk or with Post Office counters, organization applicants could mail or submit their applications to Post Office counters, please click here for details.

A4. After SEPBox is activated, it could receives e-notifications , PReM, electronic water bill and electronic electricity bill.

A5. There is no age limit when apply for SEPBox.

A6. Personal applicants only needs to provide identity document, in addition, click here to know more about identity document requirements for other applicants.

A9. Due to protection of personal privacy information, this service is not available.

A10. Personal users could reset their SEPBox login password using website and mobile version of SEPBox. In addition, MSAR ID holders could reset their password using Kiosk, while Organizational users could reset their password by contacting customer service officer for assistent through support hotline (28720029).

A11. Authorized personel could apply SEPBox on behalf of the applicant, however ID and ID copy of both applicant and authorized personel, as well as signed authorization letter must be presented during application.

A13. In order to effectively reduce junk mails from speading, SEPBox is running in a closed UPU electronic delivery frame work, utilizing UPU webservice protocol for sending of electronic mail, therefore SEPBox does not support email using POP3/SMTP protocol.

A14. Representative of public entity and organizational/foundation must be member of the management team, and representative of commercial entity must be member of the management team listed in the commercial registration.

A16. Currently Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), The Macao Water Supply Company Limited, Cultural Development Fund (FDC), Transport Bureau (DSAT), and Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) are sending PReM or PeM, click here for details.

A17. Full address of a SEPBox ID is composed of user name and .post domain of Macau Post which is correios.mo.post, an example of a SEPBox ID full address is "chantaiman@correios.mo.post".

A18. Personal SEPBox ID is automatically generated according with name of the applicant, if the length of the name is within 25 characters, the name will be use as SEPBox ID, if the name is longer than 25 characters, applicant could choose a part of the name as the SEPBox ID, in addition, if the preferred SEPBox ID already in use by others, for distinguish reasons, applicant could add 4 digitals after the preferred SEPBox ID. In addition, organization applicant could fill-in preferred SEPBox ID, while DSC will has the right to decide if the SEPBox ID is accepted or not.

A19. The input in the vertification field does not match displayed verifiation code located in the right-hand side of the screen, please noted that the verification code is case sensitive.

A20. The activation letter does not include a password, but an activtion web address and activation code, according with the instruction, users are required to input the activation code in the activation web address and activate their SEPBox.

A21. Currently SEPBox is available in website version as well as in mobile app version (iOS and Android) the following internet browsers are recommanded to be use: Internet Explorer 10 or above, Firefox 20.0.1 or above, Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m or above, Safari 5.1.7 or above. In addition, best display resolution is recommanded to 1280 x 768 pixel.
